During our Workshop the Greek and German design students emphasized the way of working and communicating. The topic of this year's workshop was ”Collective Identity – Street Art”. In our group we decided to use the topic of creating a "start-up design agency“. For that agency we would create a promotional video with the use of Street Art.
In the animation we present our agency in our work environment Exarchia. In the animation, we wanted to present our attributes to our future clients. For that reason, we used a minimalist graffiti style (stencil), which is popular in our chosen location and also fits our style. The graffiti will transform into icons which represent the attributes we defined in our concept.
We wanted to point out our connection with Exarchia and how important it is to us. Also, that we are an intercultural design agency. Our target group, young and innovative brands, should be motivated to contact us. Although our way of working was different, our style was the same, so it was important to us to show the same style in our animation.
Our agency concept is based on our group identity. The agency defines itself with style, emotional, and cognitive aspects. All members of the team are creative and organized at the same time. We all prefer a modern and minimalist style. To make a connection to Exarchia, we decided to combine our icons with the use of Street Art. The Street Art in our animation was supposed to look natural and also represent our concept for the agency.
